Dubai police reveal cause of death of Indian actress Sridevi
The Dubai Police General Command announced on Monday. that the forensic report showed that the death of Indian actress Sridivi Kapoor .was the result of her sinking into her hotel bathroom after losing consciousness.
Dubai Police said in a statement posted on its social networking site Twitter. that the case file had been referred to the Dubai Public Prosecution in order to take the necessary legal action, as is the case in such cases.
Media reports said on Sunday (February 25th) that Indian actress Sridive, one of the first Bollywood stars to die in Dubai, was 54 years old after suffering a heart attack.
Saridivi is married to producer Bonnie Kapoor and has two daughters, Jahnavi and Khoshi.
Sanjay Kapoor, her husband’s brother, told the Indian Express newspaper that the star, Sridive, died Saturday in Dubai, UAE, during a wedding.
She has been involved in a number of films in different languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada before appearing in Bollywood in 1978. She has been inducted for 15 years since 1997, The English-language drama “English Finglish” in 2012.
In 2013, she received the Badma Shri Medal, the fourth highest honorary award in India.
